Pregnancy Chiropractic Care on the Mornington Peninsula
We care for women at every stage of pregnancy — from the first trimester right through to the final weeks and into the post-natal period. Whether you're experiencing specific discomfort or simply want to support your body through the physical demands of pregnancy, our practitioners are experienced, compassionate and genuinely passionate about this area of care.
What We Commonly See During Pregnancy:
Lower back and pelvic girdle pain
Sciatic-type pain and leg discomfort
Mid-back and rib tension as the baby grows
Round ligament pain and abdominal discomfort
Postural changes and centre of gravity shifts
Support for optimal foetal positioning in the third trimester
Post-natal recovery and return to activity
We use positioning, pillows and techniques specifically suited to each stage of pregnancy. You will always be comfortable on the table. Our practitioners work collaboratively alongside your GP, midwife or obstetrician as part of your broader care team and will never recommend anything that isn't appropriate for where you are in your pregnancy. Many of our pregnant patients tell us their chiropractic visits are one of the highlights of their week, a rare hour where they feel truly looked after.
Our care doesn't stop at delivery. The post-natal period brings its own physical demands, from the repetitive positions of feeding and carrying to the recovery process after birth. Many of our patients continue their care after their baby arrives, and we love the added bonus of being able to check their newborn at the same time.
